Relaxed Family Garden to connect the Garden and the House
The primary aim of this garden was to establish a connection between the farmhouse and its surroundings. Originally part of the farm, the farmhouse and its garden were now separated from the rest of the farm, leaving an unconventional shape of land around the house. To address this challenge, the initial designs drew inspiration from the concept of clockwork, incorporating circular patterns that encircled the house, blending the residence with its environment.
The property has views of farmland and the countryside, which served as a key inspiration for the choice of plants and flowers. The color palette for the garden was bright and joyful colors, evoking the ambiance of a traditional cottage garden on a summer's day. This selection of plants blended the garden with its natural surroundings, creating an inviting atmosphere.
Incorporated within the garden was an apple and pear orchard complemented by curving boardwalks. These winding paths led visitors to a bench, offering a tranquil spot for quiet cup of tea. .
